Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: 31 OCTOBER 2026
This notice explains how Ecom Brandiers handles personal information connected with ecombrandiers.com, business enquiries and our services. For privacy questions or requests, email info@ecombrandiers.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, subject, message, business details and project requirements. If you use WhatsApp or book a meeting through Calendly, those services also handle your contact and booking information. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information through a general enquiry form.
Our website and hosting systems may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, including IP addresses, browser details, request times and error logs. With your analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 measures website activity such as pages visited, referral sources, device information, approximate location and interactions with contact or booking links and successful enquiry submissions. Analytics events measure actions; a booking-link click does not establish that a meeting was booked.
How and why information is used
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss requirements, prepare proposals and administer agreed work. We use technical information to operate the website, investigate faults and protect it against misuse. Consented analytics helps us understand which pages and contact options are useful.
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional analytics; steps requested before entering a contract or contractual necessity for relevant enquiries and service delivery; legitimate interests for proportionate business administration, security and troubleshooting; and legal obligations where records must be retained. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to the applicable law.
Cookies and your choices
The site uses CookieAdmin to manage cookie choices. Necessary technologies support site operation and remember consent preferences. Optional Google Analytics tracking is configured to start after analytics consent. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our current analytics configuration.
You can revisit your choice using the site’s cookie preferences or re-consent control and can block or remove cookies through your browser. Withdrawing analytics consent affects subsequent tracking and does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful. Some necessary functions may be affected if you block all cookies. For information about Google’s processing, see Google’s partner-site information and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Who receives information
Information is handled by the people and service providers needed to respond and operate our business, including website hosting, form delivery, email, security and, when enabled by consent, Google Analytics. We use information for these purposes rather than selling enquiry details to other businesses. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.
Calendly bookings are handled under Calendly’s Privacy Notice. WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn links open independent services with their own privacy terms. Visiting those services or contacting us through them allows their providers to process information according to those terms.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Protections and legal rights can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, the relevant transfer requirements must be met. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry; this notice does not claim that every provider stores data in the UK or USA.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Relevant factors include whether an enquiry is active, whether services are ongoing, applicable accounting or legal record requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or security incidents. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to legitimate retention requirements. You can request information about the retention of a particular record.
Security
We use measures intended to protect website communications and restrict administrative access. No website, email or messaging system can guarantee absolute security. If account access is needed for a project, agree a suitable access method with us rather than sending your main password in a public form.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email the contact above and describe your request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe. Some rights are subject to exceptions, including required legal record retention.
You may also raise a concern with your local data protection authority. UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; EEA visitors may contact their national supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a right to complain.
Children and information you submit
This is a business-services website and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so that we can review and address it. Provide only information you are authorised to share. A separate client agreement may address how we handle client or customer data during a project.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our relevant practices change and show the revised date above. For questions about this notice or your information, contact info@ecombrandiers.com. See also our Terms of Use.
